This small bat box can be used for temporary mitigation, although experts prefer two-tier boxes. Placement is preferably on facades, but the bat box is also suitable for installation in trees.

There are various bat species that can make use of this bat box; this depends on the species occurring locally and the location where the bat box is hung. The box is suitable as a summer and/or mating roost. During mild winters, the box can also serve as a shelter.

The box is finished in black so that the temperature inside can warm up quickly if the box is placed in a shady, cooler spot. This bat box is also available in white (VK MP 07) . White has the advantage that the temperature inside the box heats up less quickly when placed in sunny, warm locations.

This cabinet is made of waterproof glued exterior plywood and finished on the inside of the back panel with spray cork for a good grip. The cabinet comes with wall plugs and screws for mounting.
